Remove the hardware parts pre-assembled on
the switch box bracket (68) (fig. H2).
Mount the switch box (69) to the table top using
the screws (67) (fig. H2).
Clip the clamp (30) onto the cable (70) leading
from the switch box to the motor (fig. H4).
Remove the screw (25).
Mount the clamp to the motor frame using the
screw (25).
WARNING: Make sure to leave
sufficient length of cable for the motor
frame assembly to be tilted to the
maximum angle.
Mounting the Rails (fi g. I1–I3)
Required hardware parts: 3 nuts (20), 5 coach bolts
(23), 5 compression springs (34), 2 clamp knobs (35)
(fig I1).
Turn the machine straight up.
Firmly tighten all fasteners holding the table top
to the legstand.
MOUNTING THE CLAMPING RAIL
Insert a bolt (23) into each hole in the table top
(fig. I2).
Place a compression spring (34) onto each of
the bolts (23) as shown.
Place the rail (12) on the bolts.
Fit a clamp knob (35) onto the bolts.
MOUNTING THE DRIVING RAIL
Insert a bolt (23) into each hole in the table top
(fig. I3).
Place a compression spring (34) onto each of
the bolts (23) as shown.
Place the rail (4) on the bolts.
Fit a nut (20) onto the bolts. Do not yet tighten
the nuts.
Assemble the fence as described below and
slide it behind the driving rail (4).
Adjust the rail by turning the nuts one by one
until the fence plate slides smoothly without
play.
Assembling the Fence (fi g. J1, J2)
Take the fence assembly (71) and slide it behind
the clamping rail (12) (fig. J1).
Tighten the clamp knobs (35).
Loosen the wingnuts (72).
Slide the fence profile (73) onto the fence
clamping support (74) (fig. J2).
Place the fence profile against the raised edge
of the fence bracket.
Fix the fence profile using the wing nuts (72).
Storing push stick (fi g. J3)
Fasten the screw (39) to the indicated leg with
the nuts (40) and the washers (41), as shown.
Place the push stick (89) on the screw for
storage. Ensure the push stick does not project
into the cutting area, touching the workpiece.
Mounting the Saw Blade
(fi g. A, K1, K2)
WARNING: The teeth of a new blade
are very sharp and can be dangerous.
WARNING: Use a holder or wear
gloves when handling saw blades.
Set the blade arbor (75) (fig. K1) to its highest
position using the elevating handle (11) (fig. A).
Remove the nut (76) and the outer clamp
washer (77) (fig. K1).
Install the saw blade (7) onto the shoulder
(78) provided on the inner clamp washer (79),
making sure that the teeth at the top edge
of the blade are pointing forward (toward the
operator).
Remount the outer clamp washer (77) and nut
(76) as shown. Make sure that the ring of the
blade nut is seated against the outer clamp
washer.
Tighten the nut by turning it counter-clockwise.
Use the Hex key and the combination wrench
(fig. K2).
Adjusting the Riving Knife
(fi g. L1, L2)
Loosen the nut (59) a few turns.
Set the riving knife (6) so that the distance
between riving knife and saw blade is 3-8 mm
and the distance between the highest tooth and
the riving knife is approx. 13 mm (fig. L2).
Tighten the nut without moving the riving knife.
Mounting the Table Insert (fi g. M)
Place the insert (3) in the recess in the table top.
Fit the insert to the table top using the screw
(37).
