2. Tachometer/Hourmeter Displays engine speed and
records engine operating time
in hours.
Use engine operating times to
schedule service.
3. Engine temperature
gauge
Displays engine temperature.
Engine temperature indicator
will light if temperature rises
above 230° F (110° C).
Normal temperature is 190°-230° F
(90°-110° C).
If temperature is high:
• Turn off engine and let it cool.
• Check for low engine coolant
level, seal damage, or leaks.
• Check radiator for dirt and debris.
4. Engine oil pressure
gauge
Displays engine oil pressure.
Indicator will light if pressure
falls below 8-12 psi (55-82
kPa).
Normal operating pressure is 15-50
psi (103-345 kPa).
If pressure is low:
• Check oil level.
• If pressure is still low, consult
engine manual.
5. Fuel gauge Displays fuel level in tank. Use only #2 diesel fuel.
NOTICE: Use low sulfur or ultra low
sulfur fuel only.
Fuel tank holds 30 gal (136 L).
