Under normal conditions, tractor should not be towed. If tractor becomes disabled and towing is
necessary:
• Do not tow for more than 200 yd (180 m).
• Tow at less than 1 mph (1.6 km/h).
• Use maximum towing force of 1.5 times unit weight.
Procedure
1. Attach tow line to all available tie-down
points facing towing vehicle.
2. Block the wheels.
3. Remove cartridge from check valve:
• Open floor panel.
• Remove cap from check valve
(shown).
• Remove cartridge from check valve.
• Install cap.
4. Fasten and adjust seat belt.
5. If engine will run, start tractor so that
power steering is available while towing.
6. Remove blocks.
