3-11.2 Ground Contact
The standard circuit breaker ground contact engages a cor-
responding contact on the compartment floor and provides
positive grounding of the breaker frame (Figure 3-14).
3-11.3 Close Bar Guard
The optional close bar guard covers the close bar to prevent
unintentional manual closing of the breaker (Figure 3-20).
In the case of emergency, the breaker can be closed by
pushing the close bar through the small hole in the close bar
guard.
3-11.4 Operation Counter
The operation counter is a mechanical counter used to
provide a record of the number of breaker operations (Figure
3-3). The counter is linkage connected to the pole shaft.
