This chapter describes the process to clean and care for print heads.
Operators must prepare for printing by performing Print Head Maintenance, next, and Perform Nozzle Checks.
8.1.1 Print Head Maintenance
Nitrile Gloves; Safety Glasses; Lint-free wipes; Print Head Cleaning fluid in Plastic Squirt Bottle.
1. Fold a lint-free wipe in half, and in half again and dampen with
print head cleaning fluid.
2. Position the wipe between your fingers, Figure 8-2, and place
wipe parallel to the Print Head Plate at the Carriage rear.
