Three-phase Field Wireable QD Connectors
When the microinverters are located some distance from the roof top junction box, it may be most
economical to use Raw QD Cable (without connectors) to run across an array or to run through a
raceway, conduit, or a chase to another array and use three-phase Field Wireable QD Connectors to
connect. The three-phase Field Wireable QD Connectors should be used for cables with a cable
gauge of 12 AWG/10 AWG and with a maximum outer diameter of 21 mm.

NOTE: The five-pin, three-phase Field Wireable QD Connectors include connections for L1,
L2, L3, N, and PE. Do not use PE pin when using with four-core QD Cable.

QD Cable Clip
The Enphase QD Cable Clip (ET-CLIP-100) can support one or two QD Cables or Raw QD Cables to a
solar mounting rail. This clip has been evaluated with a large selection of racking systems and works
with most available rail-based racking systems.
These clips support the cable along the rail and may be adequate for supporting the cabling during
row-to-row transitions (depending on cable length), but additional support may be provided from
module frame clips.
