Do not press the operation button by mistake Do not go near the operating range of the
carriage
If it is pressed by mistake, it may cause unexpected
accidents due to sudden operations.
The carriage could hit you and cause an injury.
Do not look directly into the UV light
We recommended wearing protective glasses when using this printer to prevent eye damage caused by UV
light leakage.
When sitting in a chair or the like, make sure that the carriage is not at the same height as your head. The
UV light emissions are at their highest at a height of 90 cm (35 inches) from the floor. Be especially careful of
UV light leakage when loading thick media.
When printing, be aware of UV light leaks at the following locations.
At the edge of the table
The back of the carriage (back of the gantry)
Also, the area around the UV lamp of the carriage gets hot, and poses a risk of burns. Be careful not to touch
it.
Notes on maintenance
When performing printer maintenance such as refilling ink, be sure to wear protective glasses, protective
gloves, a protective mask, and protective clothing for safety.
