Important:
1. Cylinder (fan side) is in TDP Position, when
the flat part of the control shaft can be
recognized through the TDP measuring hole.
If the flat part cannot be recognized , turn the
crank shaft further 360° with the actuation tool
in order to place the flat part of the control
shaft in frontt of the measuring hole.
Valves of the 6th cylinder (flywheel side) are in
middle position.

Turn crank shaft back by at least 20° before TDP
and then set dial gauge with adaptor
(X 899.980.245.000) into the TDP measuring
Hole .
Note:
Use dial gauge with ball tip R=1 mm (0.039").
