Pregnancy
The Aria Scale is safe for pregnant women to use. While weight data will be
accurate, it will not likely be accurate for body fat % or BMI since there are
dynamic psychological changes that occur during pregnancy.
Environmental Conditions
The scale is designed to operate in typical household temperatures and
humidity levels
It has been tested up to the following extremes:
o 5 degrees Celsius and 75% humidity
o 35 degrees Celsius and 45% humidity
Lean mode
For most people the scale’s regular method of calculating body fat will work
properly. However, for exceptionally lean people (e.g., a competitive marathon
runner with body fat < 10%) there is a special mode we advise. It’s “lean” mode and
it can be selected during scale setup or in the device settings area:
