5.11 Audio Output
The audio output is used to provide aural traffic alerts. The output is capable of 100mW into a 500Ω load.
5.12 1PPS Interface
The 1PPS Interface can be configured as either an input or output, depending on the GTX 3x5
configuration and the aircraft installation.
With either a GTX 335 or GTX 345 with internal GPS, the 1PPS can be used as an output to provide 1PPS
to other equipment in the aircraft.
With a GTX 345 without internal GPS, the 1PPS can be configured as an input to provide timing
information for the ADS-B UAT receiver functions.
5.13 Configuration Module
The configuration module interface is used for connection to either a configuration module or an optional
pressure sensor module.
The configuration and pressure sensor module kits include a wire harness for connection to the GTX 3x5
D-sub connector. Connect using the wire colors as listed in the table.
The configuration module is used to store the specific aircraft installation configuration settings.
The pressure sensor module can be used to provide the pressure altitude for the transponder. The pressure
sensor module also includes configuration memory function for storing the installation configuration, so
when used, the separate configuration module is not needed.
