Do not use thermometers, such as those found in grocerg stores, to check the temperature setting of gout oven. These
thermometers may varg 20-40°E
NOTE: This adjustment will not affect the broiling or the self-cleaning temperatures (on some models). The adjustment
will be retained in memorg after a power failure.

Pull the OVENTEMPknob off the range
and look at the back side. To make an
adjustment, loosen (approximatelg one
turn), but do not completelg remove, the
two screws on the back of the knob.
Toincrease the oven temperature,
move the pointer toward the words
"MAKEHOTTER."
Todecrease the oven temperature, turn
the pointer toward the words "MAKE
COOLER."

suggestthat gou make the adjustment
one clickfrom the originalsetting and
checkovenperformance before making

After the adjustment is made, retighten

notto overtighten.
Replacethe knob,matching the flat
area of the knob to the shaft, and check
performance.

To Adjust the Thermostat with this Type
[] Pull the OVENTEMPknob off the range
and look at the back side. To make an
adjustment, loosen (approximatelg one

With the back of the knob facing gou,
hold the outer edge of the knob with one
hand and turn the front of the knob with
the other hand.
Toincrease the oven temperature, move
the top screw toward the right. You'll
hear a clickfor each notch gou move
the knob.

To decrease the oven temperature,
move the top screw toward the left,

Eachclickwill change the oven
temperature approximatelg IO°E (Range
isplus or minus 60°Ffrom the arrow.)
We suggestthat gou make the
adjustment one clickfrom the original
setting and check oven performance
before making ang additional
adjustments.
