To remove the ATC thermistor:
Remove the control panel. (See 1. Control Panel.)
Disconnect the thermistor wire harness from 2.
the water level switch. (See Precise Fill Pressure
Switch.)
Remove the funnel hose from the water valve.3.
From inside the tub, remove the two 1/4-in. 4.
hex-head screws that attach the fi ll funnel to the
washer.
Pull the fi ll funnel and wires down through the 5.
opening.
Remove the tape, pull and unsnap the 6.
thermistor from the top of the fi ll funnel.
Note: Make certain the gray rubber gasket is in
place on the thermistor when reassembling.
The main control should fi ll the tub with water within
+/- 10 to 15°F of set temperature by opening or
closing the hot and cold water valves.

AC Line Filter
The potential exists for the washer to cause
electronic devices in the vicinity to experience
disruption. In addition, electrical devices in the
area could cause erratic behavior in the washer
electronic control. To eliminate the likelihood of
disruption, the washer is equipped with a conductive
noise fi lter. Should interference with electronic
devices or erratic control behavior be reported,
suspect a problem with the fi lter. The ground wire
attached to the fi lter must have a good connection
for the fi lter to operate properly. Check to make
certain that the ground wire is connected properly
before replacing the fi lter.
The fi lter is accessed by placing the control panel in
the service position. (See Control Panel.)
Note: When untaping and disconnecting the wires
from the AC line fi lter, note wire locations.
