lanes on an expressway, the steering
wheel is not turned back sufiiciently
after completing the turn to automat-
ically cancel the tum signal. For con-
venience in such maneuvers the driver
can flash the turn signals by moving
the turn signal lever part way (to the
first stop) and holding it there. The
hazard warning system is activated by
pushing in on the button located just
below the steering wheel on the right
side of the steering column. When the
system is operating, turn signal indi-
cators on the instrument cluster will
flash simultaneously. Use this system
only when your vehicle is stopped on
or near the roadway, or otherwise
constitutes a traffic hazard. The haz-
ard warning flasher may be canceled
by pulling the button outward.
