5. Fix the balance of the foam adhesive
sealer to the underside of the window
sash (Figure F).

COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION
1. Center the air conditioner in the window
opening; make sure the lower rail of the
unit is behind and against the back side
of the window sill (Figure G).
2. Use a level to check if the unit is
properley positioned; the air conditioner
should slant slightly downward on the
outside by half a bubble off on the level.
Close the window and hold unit in posi-
tion (Figure G).
3. Extend the left and right expandable
panels into the vertical window sashes ;
using one (1) slot head wood screw,
attach each panel to the window sash by
screwing through the hole in the panel
frame (Figure H).
4. Using the last slot head screw, fix the
window-lock bracket to the upper
window sash to secure the window in
place. (Figure I).
5. Cut the top window foam gasket to the
window width. Insert the foam between
the glass and the top of the lower
window sash to prevent air and insect
intrusion (Figure J).

4. Cut foam adhesive sealer and fix it
to the bottom of the panel bottom rail
(Figure E).
