(1) Make sure air conditioner is not working, then turn it
off and disconnect power;
(2) Take off the purifier at the rear side of indoor unit by
hand according to the direction of arrow;
(3) Press hard on the left and right clasps in the "PM2.5
Removal Module". Pull the module out and take it off,
including the filter.
2. Clean the PM2.5 Removal Module
After the PM2.5 removal module is taken off, place it on a flat surface and use a
dust catcher with suction mouth or a sucker with brush to brush away the dust on
both sides of the module.
After using dust catcher or patting gently on the module, if dust is still there, clean
the module according to the following steps:
(1) Add warm water and a little detergent into a water basin;
(2) Gently shake the PM2.5 removal module in the water to clean it;
(3) Soak the module in water for 2~3 minutes. Do not soak it for too long;
(4) After soaking, wash the module with clean tap water;
(5) Shake the water off the module or place it
on a dry towel;
(6) Leave the module alone for a couple of hours
or more. Wait until it is completely dry and then
re-install it on the air conditioner.
3. Clean the Filter
Please refer to Section Clean and maintenance,
Clean the Filter for the cleaning method of filter.
4. Note:
(1) Before removing the PM2.5 removal module to clean, make sure it is power-off
for at least 60 seconds.
(2) Do not clean the module directly with high pressure air to avoid eyes injury or
damage on the module.
(3) Do not place the module directly under sunlight or near fireplace to avoid
deformation or damage.
(4) When removing or cleaning the module, please be careful and gentle. Do not
brush hard on the module.
(5) Do not use highly corrosive detergent to clean it.
(6) Before installing the module for use, make sure it is completely dry to prevent
electrical leakage.
(7) Filter may lose its original color after cleaning, but filter's performance won't be
affected.
