1.4 Inspection after Repair
Warning
Check to make sure that the power cable plug is not dirty or loose, then insert the plug into
a power outlet all the way.

If the power cable and lead wires have scratches or deteriorated, be sure to replace them.

Do not use a joined power cable or extension cable, or share the same power outlet with

Check to see if the parts and wires are mounted and connected properly, and if the
connections at the soldered or crimped terminals are secure. Improper installation and

If the installation platform or frame has corroded, replace it. Corroded installation platform or
frame can cause the unit to fall, resulting in injury.
Check the grounding, and repair it if the equipment is not properly grounded. Improper
grounding can cause an electrical shock.
Be sure to measure the insulation resistance after the repair, and make sure that the
resistance is 1 M ohm or higher.
Faulty insulation can cause an electrical shock.
Be sure to check the drainage of the indoor unit after the repair.
