Setting up the freezer
Changing the door hinges
The door hinges are on the right upon delivery. As changing the
door hinges requires some manual skills, please read through the
steps of the procedure beforehand. To change the door hinges,
you will need the following tools:
– Cross-head screwdriver
– 8 and 10 mm open-end wrench or socket wrench
1. Open the freezer door.
2. Hold on tightly to the open door and loosen the two screws 7of
the hinge plate.
3. Remove the hinge plate and lift the door out of the lower hinge
pin.
4. Unscrew the screw 8 from the hinge plate and relocate/reposi-
tion the hinge pin as shown in the illustration on the right.
5. Attach the hinge pin and hinge plate cover again using the
screw 8.

6. Remove the cover cap 9 in the left upper corner of the freezer.
7. Hold on tightly to the front cover and loosen both screws which
were covered by the cover cap. The temperature controller 1
may fall out upon loosening the screws.
Remove the mounting 10 and the screws.
8. Screw the mounting back onto 10 the opposite side.
9. Put the cover cap 9 on the mounting 10.

10. Remove the blind plug from the upper part of the door and
put it on the opposite side.
11. Tilt the freezer backwards slightly (max. 45 °). Unscrew both
front levelling feet.
