4.4 Generation of A Pulse Wave Function
Please follow these steps to output Pulse wave.
1. Press Pulse wave button in the front panel, and if the waveform is setting as <modulation
mode>, <sweep mode> or <burst mode>, please turn the mode off;
2. Press channel output button in the front panel open channel waveform output switch, then the
button is lighting;
3. Oscilloscope shows pulse wave.
4. To modify the waveform <Leading Time>, the way is press F6 button to enter page 2 of main
menu, then press F2 button. Then the selected parameter is highlighted.
5. To modify the waveform <Tailing Time>, the way is press F6 button to enter page 2 of main
menu, then press F2 button twice when at the main menu of the square wave, then the selected
parameter is highlighted.

7. To modify the waveform <Duty>, the way is Press F6 button to enter page 2 of main menu, then
press F1 button twice when at the main menu of the square wave. Then the selected parameter is
highlighted.
8. To change the parameters after being highlighted, user can use the front panel knobs and
digital keyboard to input parameter values. Please refer to the <Method of inputting parameters>.
9. To make the channel with another channel phase alignment, press F5 button when it displays
the main menu of the pulse wave.
10. To modify other parameters, please refer to <Generation Of A Sine Wave Function>
4.5 Generation of A Noise Wave Function
Noise can only in a continuous mode;
Please follow these steps to output a noise wave.
1. Press Noise wave button in the front panel;
2. Press channel output button in the front panel open channel waveform output switch, then the
button is lighting;
3. Oscilloscope shows noise wave.
4. To change the parameters after being highlighted, user can use the front panel knobs and
digital keyboard to input parameter values. Please refer to the <Method of inputting parameters>.
