2. Create a password and input the password into the password field.
STRONG PASSWORD RECOMMENDED– We highly recommend you create a
strong password of your own choosing (Using a minimum of 8
characters, including at least three of the following categories: upper
case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and special characters.) in
order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend
you reset your password regularly, especially in the high security system,
resetting the password monthly or weekly can better protect your product.
3. Confirm the password.
4. Click OK to activate the device.
When the device is not activated, the basic operation and remote operation of device
cannot be performed.
7.2 Adding Device
The software provides 4 ways for adding the devices. You can add the active online
devices within your subnet, add devices by IP address, add devices by IP segment or add
devices by device port No. range.
7.2.1 Adding Online Devices
Steps:
1. After installing the software, run the software and click on the control panel
to enter the main interface of video intercom batch configuration tool software (the
main interface of batch configuration software is shown in the Figure 7-2 Main
Interface of Batch Configuration Software).
