HOW TO MAINTAIN THE AUTOMATIC ICE MAKER
Washing the supply channel (Ice Maker Cleaning)
Cleaning the ice tray
Maintain it once a year
Cleaning the water supply container
Ice tray and water supply line can be washed.
Be sure to check the followings before starting the operation.
Go to the next step after checking them.
When using for the  rst time
When not used for more than one week
Recommended maintenance intervals
Remove the seal from the lid and wash it with a soft wash sponge.

Touch the button and hold it for more
than 5 seconds after closing all the doors
and turning on the display.
When the three indicator lamps

start to
blink and alarm starts to sound, stop holding the button.
CLEAN
ING (Ice
Maker Cleaning) starts.
Lay a soft clean towel on the bottom
of the ice case.
The purpose is to absorb water discharged during
ice maker cleaning and prevent water spill.
Before removing the case, wipe
off the water in the case.
Touch the button to stop supplying water to the ice tray
and turn on the
OFF
indicator lamp. (Stop ice making)
Empty the ice tray and wash it lightly in the stream.
Turn the case and remove it
from the lid.
Pull the tab of the water
lter with fi ngers and
remove it from the case.
Wash it with a soft
wash sponge etc.
About three minutes later, when alarm and blinking
end, remove water in the ice case using the towel.
Open the Ice Compartment Door.
Push the level laterally. draw the frame.
Raise the cover ( part) in the direction of the arrow.
Remove the ice tray from the frame.
The indicator lamp will  ash and the buzzer will sound for about 3 minutes.
CLEAN
ING (Ice Maker Cleaning) can
t be interrupted.
If you open any of the refrigerator doors during Ice Maker Cleaning, the cleaning
may not work properly. Do not open or close the door until cleaning is completed.
Door alarm sounds even if alarm is disabled.

Water which doesn't contain chlorine may easily cause slime and/or fur
compared with tap water. Wash the Water Supply Container regularly to
prevent bacteria from breeding when such water is used.
There is no problem with using water remaining
in the water supply container, if any.
If the indicator lamp
ashes, perform the
following operation after
the
OFF
lamp is turned
on in 1 minute.

Do not use the
detergents etc.
Do not use any cleaning
tool that can scratch it easily
such as scrubbing brush and
plate powder.
If you set ice making to OFF and do not intend to
use the auto ice maker for some time, wash and dry
the water supply container and then mount it in place.
In particular, dry the water  lter thoroughly.

Set the ice tray and close the cover.
Make the frame horizontal and push
it into the end (The level is automatically
restored to its original position.)
Light ON
When the frame for the ice tray cannot be pushed into the back, the motor that drives the ice-tray may have operated.
Remove the ice tray and then push the frame alone into the back, and then touch the with all the doors opened to
turn on
OF
F. After a while, the ice-tray driving motor gets ready, allowing you to mount the ice-tray.
Notice
Do not place your hand in the mechanical
section of the automatic ice maker.
(Rotation of the ice tray may cause injury.)
