Warning
To avoid reducing the
effectiveness of seat belts,
seatbacks should only be upright
or at most semi-reclined when
the vehicle is moving.
• Sit centrally in the seat.
• Use the backrest and cushion for
support.
Rear head restraints
• Lift the head restraint up to raise.
• Push the locking button and push
the head restraint down to lower.
• Push the locking button and pull
the head restraint up to remove.
• Adjust the seat so that your legs
are slightly angled when against
the pedals.
• Adjust the backrest angle to
easily reach the steering wheel
with arms slightly bent. See
Steering wheel adjustment on
page 44.
• Maintain contact between
shoulders and the backrest when
turning the steering wheel.
• Adjust the head restraint. See
Head restraints on page 25.
• Slide the passenger seat as far
back as possible.
