Push the release lever to the lower
right a s shown.
If the power door lock system cannot
unlock the tailgate, unlock it
manually. In this case, you cannot
open the tailgate with the release.
To open the tailgate, access the
tailgate release lever from inside the
vehicle.
If you need to open the tailgate
manually, it means there is a
problem with the tailgate. Have the
vehicle checked by your dealer.
Place a cloth on the edge of the
cover, then use a small flat-tipped
screwdriver t o remove the cover on
the back of the tailgate.
