The fuel cutoff switch is behind the
driver’s side corner vent. To access
the switch:
After the switch has activated, it
must be reset by pressing the button
before the engine can be restarted.
In a collision or sudden impact, this
switch automatically cuts off the fuel
supply to the engine.
Open the driver’s door.
Pry the lower front side of the side
panel under the door seal, then
pull out the side panel carefully.
Removethesidepanelofthe
dashboard carefully.
Locate the fuel cutoff switch
behind the corner vent.1.
