If a Fuse Blows
Taking Care of the Unexpected
All of the electrical circuits on your
scooter have fuses to protect them from
damage caused by excess current flow
(short circuit or overload).
If something electrical on your scooter
stops working, the first thing you should
check for is a blown fuse.
Check the fuse before looking elsewhere
for another possible cause of the problem.
Replace a blown fuse and check
component operation.
The fuse holder is located behind the
center cover.
The spare fuse is located in the fuse
holder.
Recommended Fuses
To prevent an accidental short circuit,
turn the ignition switch OFF before
checking or replacing the fuse.
