5. STARTING AND STOPPING THE ENGINE
Starting the engine
Before starting the engine disconnect any load from the AC receptacle.
CAUTION: On the wheels equipped generator, block the wheels
securely.
1. Turn off the AC circuit protector or breaker.
2. Turn the engine switch to START and hold it there until the engine starts.
CAUTION: Do not use the starter motor for more than 5 seconds.
If the engine fails to start, release the key, and wait at least 10
seconds before operating the starter motor again.
