Battery connection: (Red wire + and Black wire - with lugs)
The power supply must be backed up by a 4V-3.5Ah battery (included) to maintain system operation in case of mains failure.
Once the battery has been connected the system will not be initialized until mains connection.
Do not leave the battery connected to the control panel without the mains being connected, (e.g. storage before installation). In
this case power used would be 1mA. System parameter back up by EEPROM requires no power supply.
Extension module port (J4)
This connector is used when the optional GSM or GPRS module is fitted.
Wired extension connectors (J6 to J9)
The CMI800++ control panel contains connectors

allowing the connection of:
- Up to 3 remote audio modules type TP800 (J6 and J7). Total cable length between the audio modules and the control panel shouldn’t
exceed 33m. The audio modules power supply on connector J6 should be used exclusively for the connection of a TP800. The use of
the integrated local audio module or the remote audio module is selected using jumpers J10 and J11 (see diagram)
- An output device (J8). This device should be powered by an external source (12V max). The parameters of this output can be
modified.
- An external tamper (J6). This input should be activated using the programming tool.
- A XM10 transmitter (J9) to pilot X10 receivers with an X10 address and On/Off states.
