16. REMOTE CONTROL (WI-FI)
This appliance is equipped with Wi-Fi
technology that allows the machine to be
remote controlled via an app.
! Download the Hoover Wizard app onto
your device.
! Make sure your smartphone/tablet is
connected to your home Wi-Fi network.
! Turn the BLUETOOTH (if available).
! Open the app, create a user profile and
pair the appliance. To do so, follow either
the instructions that appear on the display
of your device or the procedure described
in the "Quick Guide" that comes with the
appliance, which you may also obtain
from the link go.candy-group.com/am-dw.
! Make sure that the router is switched on
and connected to the Internet.
! Load the dishwasher, load the detergent,
and close the door.
! Switch on the appliance using the
ON/OFF button.
! Press the REMOTE CONTROL button
for 1 second.
! The Wi-Fi indicator light will switch on and
the message "REMOTE CONTROL ON"
will appear on the display.
! The keys and buttons on the control
panel will be disabled.
! Only the REMOTE CONTROL ,
ON/OFF and START/RESET buttons will
remain enabled.
! It is now possible to manage the
appliance via the app.
! To exit REMOTE CONTROL mode
during a wash cycle, press the REMOTE
CONTROL button on the appliance for 1
second. The Wi-Fi indicator light will start
to flash and the message "REMOTE
CONTROL OFF" will appear on the
display. This enables the appliance's
control panel. The wash cycle will
continue normally.
! To re-enable remote control via app,
press the REMOTE CONTROL button
again for 1 second, leaving the door shut.
The Wi-Fi indicator light will switch on and
the message "REMOTE CONTROL ON"
will appear on the display. The keys and
buttons on the control panel will be
disabled. Only the REMOTE CONTROL
, ON/OFF and START/RESET buttons
will remain enabled.
Pairing the machine with the app
The Hoover Wizard app is available
both for Android and for iOS tablets
and smartphones.

If the appliance is switched off and
then on again - either via the ON/OFF
button or as a result of a power failure
- when REMOTE CONTROL is
enabled and a wash cycle is in
progress, the cycle will continue from
the point of interruption.
In this case, "REMOTE CONTROL"
will be disabled.
