NOTE: The system board spare part kit includes replacement thermal materials.

System board (includes replacement thermal materials):
All system boards use the following part numbers:
xxxxxx-001: Non-Windows operating systems
xxxxxx-601: Windows 10 operating system
For use in models with Nvidia GeForce discrete graphics memory:
Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and 4 GB of discrete graphics memory 926305-xx1
Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor and 2 GB of discrete graphics memory 926304-xx1
Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor and 4 GB of discrete graphics memory 926307-xx1
Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor and 2 GB of discrete graphics memory 926306-xx1
For use in models with AMD Radeon discrete graphics memory:
Intel Core i7-7700HQ processor 926308-xx1
Intel Core i5-7300HQ processor 926309-xx1
Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by rst unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 35).
5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 37).
6. Remove the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 38).
7. Remove the memory module (see Memory module on page 40).
8. Remove the hard drive (see Hard drive on page 41).
9. Remove the solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive (SSD) on page 43).
10. Remove the fan assembly (see Fan assembly on page 44).
To remove the system board:
1. Position the computer upright, and then disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1): Display cable
(2): Hard drive connector cable
(3): TouchPad cable
(4): Keyboard cable
