Before removing the system board hook, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 32).
2. Remove the optical drive (see Optical drive on page 33).
3. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 37).
4. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 40).
Remove the system board hook:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the hook to the computer.
2. Remove the system board hook from the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the system board hook.
