1-5. Interface to System
The HP 30010A INP consists of two PCA boards thc:_t are backplane
compatible with the HP 3000 Series II and Series III Computer
Systems. The INP PCAs are inEtalled in twc adjacent. slots in thE·
I/O section cf the card cage. The INP receives power fr0rn the
system thrc.ugh conriectors Pl on both boards, and the INP inter-
faces with the IOP bus via connectors Pl an~ P3 and ~ith the MUX
ch2nnel bus. via connector P2. The INP then communicate£:, ·with the
other systems. in the data communications netwcrk through cor.-
nectcrs Jl and J2 either by modem c.r by direct conrE·ct~on. The
