TRACK-TUNE MODE OFFSET

Description
The Modulation Analyzer
is
tuned
to
a
signal
and put in the track-tune mode. The frequency
of
the
IF
is
measured and the offset
is
adjusted
to
bring the frequency
to
within
f20
kHz
of
1.5
MHz.
Procedure
1.
Connect the CALIBRATION
RF'
POWER OUTPUT
to
the INPUT. (The CALIBRATION
RF'
POWER OUTPUT can be connected either
to
a sensor module or directly
to
the Modulation
Analyzer's INPUT.)
2.
Press the blue key then press INSTR PRESET (the AUTOMATIC OPERATION
key)
to
preset
the instrument. Key in
45.16
SPCL
to
turn
on the
FW
power calibrator. (This provides
a
signal
for
the Modulation Analyzer's input.)
3.
Key
in
34.0
SPCL
to
set
the instrument
to
measure the
IF
frequency. Press TRACK MODE.
4.
Adjust
A20R1
(TRK
OFS)
for
a
display between
1.480
and
1.520
MHz.
