Power connector cable 807522-001
Before removing the power connector cable, follow these steps:
1. Turn o the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is o or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the computer by unplugging the power cord from the computer.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the computer.
4. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 26).
5. Remove the system board (see System board on page 38).
6. Remove the display (see Display assembly subcomponents on page 17).
Remove the power connector cable:
1. Remove the Phillips PM2.0×2.0 screw (1) that secures the bracket to the computer.
2. Remove the bracket from the computer (2).
3. Pull the connector out from under the rear corner of the computer (3).
4. Remove the power connector cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the power connector cable.
