Prerequisites The ambient temperature and humidity in the equipment room and
the altitude of the equipment room meet server operating
requirements. For details about the requirements, see the server
installation guide.
Procedure 1. Install guide rails.
2. Lift the server (at least two persons are required), place it on
the guide rails, and slide it along the guide rails into the
cabinet.
3. Properly connect power cables from the server to the rack
based on the power distribution requirements of the equipment
room. Before connection, check whether the server is equipped
with one PSU or two PSUs in 1+1 redundancy mode.
Expected Results 1. The server is properly installed in the cabinet.
2. The power distribution in the cabinet is appropriate.
