2.1 Coverage Capability
The BTS3012 has the following benefits in terms of coverage:

The static sensitivity of the TCH/FS channel is –112.5 dBm (a typical value in
normal temperature)
z Power boost technology (PBT)
The maximum transmission power of the DTRU can reach up to 80 W.
z Configuration of up to six cells in one cabinet

2.2 Capacity
The BTS3012 has the following benefits in terms of capacity:
z One BTS3012 cabinet supports up to 12 TRXs.
z The BTS3012 supports multiple cells and one cabinet supports up to six
cells.
z Each site supports 1 to 36 TRXs.

z Supporting multiple transmission modes such as E1, STM-1, microwave,
and satellite transmission.
z Supporting multiple topologies such as star, tree, chain, ring, and hybrid
topologies.
2.4 Clock and Synchronization
The BTS3012 has the following features in terms of clock and synchronization:
z The BTS3012 supports clock phase-lock, tracing, memory, and free running.
z The Transmission, Timing, and Management Unit for DTRU (DTMU) of the
BTS3012 uses the active/standby mode, which greatly improves the
reliability of the clock.
z The BTS3012 can process the inputs of external BITS clock.
