Step 9 Install a metal sheet for two neighboring RRUs, as shown in Figure 6-9.

1. Use an M6 Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw on the metal sheet farther from the
handle of the first RRU and remove the screw.
2. Use an M6 Phillips screwdriver to slightly loosen the screw on the metal sheet closer to
handle of the first RRU and move the metal sheet out. Then align the holes in the metal
sheet with the holes at the top of the second RRU.
3. Insert the removed screws into the holes at the top of the second RRU and use an M6
torque screwdriver to tighten the screws to 5 N·m (44.25 lbf·in.).
Step 10 Install RRU cables and close the RRU cabling cavity according to the instructions in related
RRU installation guides.
Step 11 Power off the RRU according to the instructions in 3.1 Powering On an RRU.
