7.2.2.7.2.2 Installing Two RRUs
This section describes the procedure and precautions for installing two RRUs on a pole.
Prerequisites
The hoist clamp on the main bracket is secured properly.
NOTICE:
• Do not stand an RRU upright because the RF ports cannot support the weight of the RRU.
• Place a foam pad or cardboard under an RRU to protect the RRU housing from damage during
the installation.
Procedure
1. Install the first RRU onto the main bracket, as shown in Figure 1. For details, see Installing a Single
RRU.
