6.3.3.2 Measuring the inlet gas pressure - EX 700 and EX 850
To perform a gas pressure test, you will need to use the inlet gas pressure test fitting (supplied
with the boiler to transition from ā
" BSP to barbed for connection to a manometer), a 3 mm Allen
wrench, and a digital manometer. You will be measuring the inlet gas supply from the test port
located to the right of the gas valve (see m on Figure 43 ). Do not perform a test from the
manifold gas pressure test port.
Ensure that you have a load configured (Reset Heating, Set Point, or DHW). This load should be
large enough to allow the boiler to operate at high fire for over 10 minutes.
1.
Shut off the gas supply.
2.
Remove the bolt head using a 3mm
Allen wrench, and put aside.
3.
Screw the inlet gas pressure test
fitting into the inlet gas pressure test
port.
4.
Insert the tubing securely into the
inlet gas pressure test fitting.
