__ 3. Click Login to the Primary Support Element.
__ 4. On the Primary Support Element Logon window:
• Type SERVICE in the Username eld.
• Type SERVMODE in the Password eld.
__ 5. Click System Management.
__ 6. Select the CPC.
__ 7. Click Service.
__ 8. Click Service Status.
__ 9. If Service Status is already enabled, skip to the next step. Otherwise, complete the following steps:
__ a. If required, select the check box.
__ b. Click Options.
__ c. Click Enable service status.
__ d. Click Save.
__ e. Click Yes.
__ f. Click OK, if applicable.
__ g. Click Cancel to close.
__ 10. From Service Management, click NNhb Monitor and verify that there are no outstanding service
network issues on the system. Any problems that are found must be resolved before moving on to
the next step.
__ 11. From the Tasks Index, click View Service History and verify that there are no power faults on the
system. Any faults that are not the expected "low water" issues must be resolved before moving on
to the next step.
__ 12. From the Tasks Index, click Additional Service Tasks.
__ 13. Click Power and SMP cable check to perform a system-wide check of the cable connections.
The cable check test MUST be run to verify that the system is cabled correctly. The entire service
maintenance package is dependent on a correctly cabled machine. This is the only system-wide
cable check test that is performed on the machine. Failure to run this test may impact concurrent
service of the machine while operating. The system must be powered off to run the cable check
and may take up to 1 hour and 15 minutes for large system congurations.
__ 14. Click Recovery.
__ 15. Click Power-On.
__ 16. Click OK to close the window when power-on completes successfully.
