3. Tighten the thumbscrews (B) located at the back of the cover.
Removing the service access cover from a stand-alone 8203-E4A,
8204-E8A, 8261-E4S, 9407-M15, 9408-M25, or 9409-M50
Use this procedure to remove the service access cover to perform service or to gain access to internal
components.
To remove the service access cover from a stand-alone model, do the following steps:
1. Loosen the two thumbscrews (A) located at the back of the service access cover as shown in the
following figure.
2. Slide the service access cover (B) toward the back of the system. When the front of the cover clears
the front frame ledge, lift the cover off the system.
Attention: For proper cooling and airflow, install the cover before starting the system. Operating the
system without the cover for more than 30 minutes might damage the system components.
