4 Error Messages and Beep Codes
4.1 Speaker
Audible error code (beep code) information generated during POST is routed to the
audio codec and can be heard through attached speakers.
4.2 BIOS Beep Codes
Whenever a recoverable error occurs during POST, the BIOS causes the attached
speakers to beep an error message describing the problem (see Table 41).
