Disinfection of the
water circuit (optional system)
I Make sure that the outlet nozzles on the walls of the tub are
open (chapter on preliminary operations, fig. 8. The dorsal
nozzles are always open).
I Fill the tub until the dorsal nozzles are covered (without any-
body in the tub). You can use the same water used for the hy-
dromassage so long as no soaps, oils, or cosmetic products
have been used and provided that you add water to reach the
correct level.
I Make sure that the disinfectant liquid, provided with the t ub,
has been poured into the appropriate tank.
Jacuzzi recommends using "J-MX 07" liquid (available from
authorized ser vice centres) and running the cy cle about once
a month (if the tub is used privately).
• The opening for the tank is located under the headrest and
is closed with a plug (chapter on preliminary operations, fig.
9). The tank contains more than a litre.
Starting up with the remote control
I Turn on the remote control by pressing the key: The
display will show the Jacuzzi logo and moving bubbles.
• If the remote control is not used for about 1 minute, the display
panel light gradually fades until it goes out; press any button to
start it again.
I (fig. 28) Then press the key: the display will show the
icon for the sanitizing function.
I While aiming the remote control at the receiver, as shown
in the figure, hold the key down for ab out four seconds.
The sanitizing cycle will start, while the display will show the
indicated screenshot and the LED on the receiver on the edge
of the tub comes on.
At the bottom of the display, you can also check the duration
of the cycle (10 minutes, which counts down to zero)
• The cycle is carried out in sequence as follows: When the
cycle starts, the pump is started. It pumps a preset amount of
J-MX 07 liquid into the water circuit. After about two minutes,
the pump stops and then starts again automatically during the
last minute of the cycle.
