After the completion of adjustment of
the oil amount, run the sewing ma-
chine for 30 seconds or more. Then,
check whether the hook is adequately
lubricated.
3-4. Adjusting the oil amount in the hook
Adjust the oil amount with oil amount adjustment
screw

that is located on the front bushing of
hook driving shaft. The oil amount is increased
by turning adjustment screw

clockwise (+) or
decreased by turning it counterclockwise (-).

Apply an appropriate amount of oil to the portion
indicated with an arrow.
(Be sure to apply an appropriate amount of oil
once a day.)
WARNING :
To protect against possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, be sure to start the
following work after turning the power o and ascertaining that the motor is at rest.
