6-5. Adjusting the inner hook guide
When replacing the hook, conrm the position of the needle guard.
The standard position of the hook needle guard is obtained when hook needle guard

comes in contact
with the side face of needle

and the engagement length between the needle and the hook needle guard is
0 to 0.05 mm. If not, adjust by bending the hook needle guard.
1) When bending the hook needle guard inward, perform by entering a screwdriver to the outside of the
hook needle guard.
2) When bending the hook needle guard outward, perform by entering a screwdriver to the inside of the
hook needle guard.
At this time, conrm that the clearance between the needle and the blade point of hook is 0.01 to 0.05 mm.

bring inner hook guide

2) Turn bobbin case

and make inner hook stopper
