Notes:
• In this case, the on-going play is not stopped_ If you
wish to stop it, take the action required.
• When selecting the component connected to the "TAPE
2" terminals, press the TAPE 2 button.
If a cassette deck is connected to these terminals, since
tape playback cannot be started with the remote control
button, press the PLAY button of the cassette deck.
• When playing a DAT deck, connect it to the "TAPE 2"
terminals, and connect the remote cable.
To start, press the TAPE 2 button then press the DA T
CONTROL button.
• When connecting the cassette deck to the TAPE 2 termi-
nal, do not connect the remote cable.
3. 41> STOP 00 (TARGET ~ VCR): For stopping the
VCR.
4. 41> PAUSE/STILL [iIJ (TARGET ~ VCR): Pressing
this button while the VCR is in playback switches its mode
toSTILL.
41> PLAY ~ (TARGET ~ VCR): Pressing this but-
ton resumes the recording operation that has been inter-
rupted by pause.

41> I .... I (TARGET VCR): Press this button to re
wind the tape.
41> I ~ I (TARGET VCR): Press this button to set
the tape in rapid forward motion. When the tape is irr the
PLA Y mode, these two buttons can be used for selecting
the "SHUTTLE SEARCH".
41> REC [Q] + PLAY [El (TARGET ~ VCR): To
start recording, press ~ button while keeping [QJ but-
ton pressed.
41> REC [ill + PAUSE/STILL[JI] (TARGET ~ VCR):
Pressing these buttons, [ill and [i!J , at the same time
pauses the recording operation. (Recording can be resumed
at any time.)
Switch the audio and video signals from the video equipment
(connected tothe TV set). (Fig. 17)
01vIDE021 or IVIDE031: The "SOUND SELECT" of
the Amplifier selects the "TV".
01vIDEO 210r l.SLtQfQjJ (TARGET ~ TV): The "INPUT
SELECT" of the TV set selects the "VIDEO 2" or
"VIDE03".
ACOUSTIC EXPANDER effects (Fig. 18)
CD I ACOUSTIC EXPANDER I: Press this button to engage
ACOUST I C EXPAN DE R effects. Pressing th is button
again, the ACOUSTIC EXPANDER effects are by-passed.
Move
volume up or down (Fig. 18)
W VOLUME 1- 11 + I: The sound volume is
increased or decreased gradually.
Mute the sound (Fig.18)
W FADE MUTING ~: The volume is further decreased
each time this button is pressed.

Remarques:
• En ce cas, la lecture en cours ne s'arrete pas. Si I'arret est
desire, donner la commande necessaire.
•
Pour selectionner I'appareil raccorde aux bornes "TAPE
2", appuyer sur la touche TAPE 2.
Si
une platine a cassette est raccordee aces bornes,
comme la lecture de la bande ne peut pas etre lancee
avec la touche de telecommande, appuyer sur la touche
PLA Y de la platine a cassette.
• Pour utiliser une platine DAT, la raccorder aux bornes
"TAPE 2", puis la raccorder au cable de telecommande.
Pour commencer, appuyer sur la touche TAPE 2, puis
appuyer sur la touche DAT CONTROL.
• Lors du raccordement de la platine a cassettes a la borne
TAPE 2, ne pas raccorder le cable de telecommande.
3. ~ Arret (STOP) ~ (Cible ~ Magnetoscope) (TARGET
~ VCR): Pour arreter le magnetoscope.
4. 41> Pause/arret sur image (PAUSE/STI LL) [!iJ (Cible ~
Magnetoscope) (TARGET ~ VCR): Pour passer au mode
d'arret sur image (STI LL), appuyer sur cette touche au
cours de la lecture du magnetoscope
~ Lecture (PLAY) CB (Cible ~ Magnetoscope) (TAR-
GET -+ VCR): La pression de cette touche permet de re·
commencer I'enregistrement qui a ete interrompu dans le
mode d'arret provisoire (PAUSE)
5. 41> 1 ... 1 (Cible ~ Magnetoscope) (TARGET ~ VCR):
Appuyer sur cette touche pour rebobiner la bande.
~ ~ (Cible ~ Magnetoscope) (TARGET -+ VCR):
ApPllyer sur cette touche pour mettre la bande en avance
rapide Lorsque la bande est dans le mode de lecLl re
(PLAY), ces deux touches peuvent etre utilisees pour Sei8C-
tionner le mode de recherche a navette (SHUTTLE
SEARCH)
