5.9 Bluetooth wireless interface

KeMes A2xx features an integrated Bluetooth Low Energy wireless interface

for the connection between device and press brake.

Switching on the Bluetooth wireless interface

To switch on the Bluetooth wireless interface, proceed as follows:

1) Navigate to the Bluetooth menu entry. The device serial number is dis-

played in the Bluetooth menu.

2) Enable the wireless connection by pressing the operating button once.

The Bluetooth icon appears on the display. The device is now ready for

a wireless connection to be set up.

How a wireless connection is set up and how the device is coupled to the re-

ceiver depend on the version and are described in the following chapters.

Sending measured values after a manual measurement

If the device is connected to a receiver, the device flashes once the mea-

surement of the measuring angle is complete. You can send the angle value

to the receiver by briefly pressing the operating button once.

When it is pressed twice briefly, the measured value is discarded and

---.--° appears on the display. Briefly pressing the button again starts a

new measurement.

5.9.1 KeMes A200

This device variant supports complete integration into the press brake con-

trol system by means of a wireless interface. Make sure that the receiver

meets the requirements for a connection establishment.

Requirements for the connection establishment:

● Bluetooth interface on the receiver with KeMes driver software

Setting up a wireless connection

To establish a wireless connection, the Bluetooth wireless interface must be

switched on. To establish the wireless connection, proceed as follows:

1) Starting the connection establishment by the receiver. A 4 - 6 digit con-

nection key (e.g. 273992) appears on the display for the first connection

establishment.

2) Enter the connection key at the receiver within 30 seconds.

The set up of the wireless connection is continued, and, in addition to the

Bluetooth icon, the connection quality is displayed (in 4 levels).
