CHECKING INTAKE AIR LINE (V)
(1) Air Line Hose
1. If the hose clamps are loose ,
tighten clamps securely.
2. If the hoses and clamps are dam-
aged, you must replace them at
once. Failure to do so could lead
to engine damage.
3. Check the following section.

(A) Wheel - to - wheel distance at front
(B) Wheel - to - wheel distance at rear
1. Park tractor on a at place
2. Turn steering wheel so front
wheels are pointed straight ahead.
3. Lower the implement, lock the
parking brake and stop the engine.
4. Measure distance between tire
beads (center) at front of tire and
hub height.
5. Measure distance between tire
beads at the rear of tire and hub
height.
6. F r o n t d i s t a n c e s h o u l d b e
0.079~0.315 in. (2~8 mm) less
than rear distance. If not, adjust
ball joint length
