In this mode,
the
shutter
release
button may be held
down
to take
a sequence of
photos
in
rapid
succeision
(at
about
2 frames
per
second
with
available light.)

the Self-timer mark,

display
panel.

camera on a tripod
or
steady surface, frame
the
picture,
and
press
the
shutter release
button. The
Self-
timer
will
start,
and release
the shutter
after about l0
seconds.

The
Self-timer
Light on front
of the
camera will light for
7
seconds and
blink
for
the last
3 seconds
before shutter
release.
*
Flash
will
operate automatically
in the
Self-timer mode,
if required.
Focus
and AE Lock
may
be used.

Press
down
the
Flash
Unit
to
interrupt
the Self-timer, if
desired.

Standard Mode
is reset
automatically
after shutter release
is completed.
(The
Mode Fixed
Switch inside
the
back
cover may be
set to
prevent
automatic resetting.)

prevent
accidental
rewinding,
