THE IMPORTANCE OF MAINTENANCE
A well-maintained scooter is essential for safe,
economical and trouble-free riding. It will also
help reduce air pollution.
To help you properly care for your scooter, the
following pages include a maintenance
schedule for regularly scheduled maintenance.
These instructions are based on the
assumption that the scooter will be used
exclusively for its designed purpose. Sustained
high speed operation or operation in unusually
wet or dusty conditions will require more
frequent service than specified in the
maintenance schedule. Consult your KYMCO
dealer for recommendations applicable to your
individual needs and use.
If your overturns or becomes involved in a
crash, be sure your KYMCO dealer inspects all
major parts, even if you are able to make some
repairs.
Improperly maintaining this scooter or
failing to correct a problem before you
ride can cause a crash in which you can
be seriously hurt or killed.
Always follow the inspection and
maintenance recommendations and
schedules in this owner's manual.
Running the engine indoors or in a
garage can be hazardous. Exhaust gas
contains carbon monoxide, a gas that is
colorless and odorless and can cause
death or severe injury.
Only run the engine outdoors where
there is fresh air.
