Never modify your frame or bicycle in any way as this could cause
serious injury or death. Do not sand, drill, le, or remove parts from
your bicycle. Do not install incompatible components or hardware.
To prevent serious injury or death:
• Do not open the drive unit yourself. The drive unit must only be
repaired by qualied personnel using only original parts. This will
ensure that the safety of the drive unit is maintained. Unauthorized
opening of the drive unit will render warranty claims null and
void. You may however need to access controller plugs inside the
motors cover plate which can be seen in the gure below.
• All components tted to the drive unit and all other components
of your Lectric eBike PAS system (e.g. chainring, chainring
spider, pedals) must only be replaced with identical components
or components that have been specically approved by Lectric
eBikes.
• Always remove the battery packs from your Lectric eBike
before beginning work (e.g. inspection, repair, assembly,
maintenance, work on the chain, etc.), transporting it with a car
or on an airplane, or storing it. Battery pack removal will prevent
unintentional activation of your Lectric eBike.
• Do not make any modications to your Lectric eBike or attach
any other products that might increase the performance of your
Lectric eBike.
