Stress to the homeowner the importance of remembering the Secu-
rity Code if code is forgotten or misplaced, the universal code
4199" can be used. If the thermostat is reset, all schedules are
erased and full reprogramming is required.
After the security code is set, when any button on the thermostat is
pushed, a screen appears that requires the security code to be en-
tered. After the correct security code is entered, security is turned off.
After revisions are made to the settings, the user must reenter the
code to reestablish security
Change Temperature Settings
NOTE − If auto changeover is enabled at the time a temperature hold is
invoked, the thermostat MAY CHANGE OVER from heating to cooling and
vice versa, to maintain the temperature hold setpoint. The auto changeover
deadband is still used to determine whether changeover occurs. This
applies to all of the following hold modes.
Brief Temperature Change
1. From the home screen, press the
UP or DOWN button. Press the
UP/DOWN buttons to adjust to
the desired temperature.
2. This setting will hold for 3 hours or
until the next programmmed
event begins, whichever time
period is shorter.
3. After pressing SET TEMP or after
5 seconds, the home screen
indicates new setpoint and
duration. RESUME PROGRAM
cancels a temporary setpoint
change and returns to
programmed setting.
Hold Settings Menu
Make permanent, temporary, or vaca-
tion changes through the HOLD SET-
TINGS menu. To access the menu,
press HOLD TEMP from home screen.
Change Temperature Permanently
In the permanent change mode, the setpoint is maintained indefinitely. The
thermostat must not be in OFF mode to enter this mode. To resume pro-
grammed operation press the RESUME PROGRAM button from the main
screen.
1. From the home screen, press the HOLD TEMP button Then select
PERMANENT HOLD.
2. Use the UP or DOWN button to
set the temperature to the desired
level. Press SET TEMP.
3. The home screen will now
indicate a PERMANENT HOLD.
RESUME PROGRAM will cancel
a permanent hold and return to
the programmed temperature
setting.
Change Temperature Temporarily
The setpoint and temperature are held for up to 24 hours.
1. From the home screen, press the HOLD TEMP button Then select
TEMPORARY HOLD.
